Position Overview We are seeking a highly technical and customer-focused Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support the growth of our industrial IoT and networking business across Europe and international markets. This role will serve as a key technical bridge between customers, sales teams, and R&D, supporting solutions across industrial routers, telematics, video telematics, fleet management, and industrial connectivity applications. The ideal candidate combines strong networking and industrial communication expertise with a consultative, customer-facing mindset. You will play a critical role in solution design, technical enablement, troubleshooting, pre-sales support, and long-term customer success while helping drive adoption of Queclink’s expanding industrial router and IoT portfolio. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-level technical support to customers, partners, and distributors across industrial networking and IoT deployments, • Act as the primary technical advisor during pre-sales and post-sales engagements, supporting solution architecture, product selection, and deployment planning, • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to support customer acquisition and strategic opportunities, • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to industrial routers, connectivity, network performance, and device integration, • Conduct technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing, customer workshops, and training sessions for partners and end users, • Support OEM, system integrator, and channel partner projects throughout the full customer lifecycle, • Develop and maintain technical documentation including deployment guides, troubleshooting procedures, knowledge base articles, and training materials, • Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product improvements and future roadmap planning, • Work cross-functionally with global R&D and product teams to escalate and resolve advanced technical challenges, • Support on-site deployments and customer visits when required across Europe and other international regions, • Maintain accurate and transparent project and customer activity within CRM and internal systems Qualifications Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering, Technical Support Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles within IoT, networking, telecommunications, or industrial automation, • Strong hands-on experience with industrial routers, cellular gateways, networking hardware, or wireless communication solutions, • Deep understanding of networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, DHCP, routing, and firewall configurations, • Understanding of DC circuits and low-voltage electronic systems, • Ability to solder, build simple wiring harnesses, and operate basic electronic test equipment such as power supplies and DC converters, • Ability to troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity environments independently, • Experience supporting B2B customers in industrial IoT, transportation, smart city, telematics, or enterprise networking environments, • Strong customer communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Comfortable working in an international, cross-cultural environment with global teams and customers, • Excellent English communication skills required; Spanish and/or additional European languages are a strong advantage, • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred Preferred Qualifications • Experience with LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, or CAN, • Basic programming knowledge in any language, • GNSS/GPS systems experience, • Telecommunications or cellular systems experience, • Embedded systems experience, • Experience configuring industrial routers and networking equipment, • Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols and data systems, including CAN bus, • Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or similar networking certifications are a plus We Offer • Competitive compensation and incentive packages, • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial IoT and networking technologies, • A highly collaborative international team environment, • Exposure to global customers, strategic projects, and emerging industrial networking applications, • Continuous learning and professional development opportunities, • A key technical role supporting the growth of Queclink’s international networking and IoT business Equal Opportunity Employer Queclink Wireless Solutions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
