We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance function at a large operational depot in Glasgow, overseeing a fleet of approximately 150 operational assets. This is a senior, site-based leadership role within a safety-critical, high-availability environment, offering full ownership of engineering performance, compliance and team development. Key Responsibilities • Lead, develop and motivate a multi-skilled engineering and maintenance team, • Take full responsibility for asset availability, reliability and performance, • Plan and deliver preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, • Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory and internal engineering standards, • Manage budgets, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives, • Drive performance through KPIs, reporting and root-cause analysis, • Work closely with operational and senior stakeholders to support service delivery About You • Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager or Fleet Engineering role, • Background managing large-scale asset fleets in operational environments (e.g. transport, logistics, utilities, manufacturing or similar), • Strong people leader with experience in safety-critical operations, • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and performance targets, • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience What’s on Offer • Salary of £60,000 – £65,000, depending on experience plus additional fantastic benefits including up to 15% bonus, • Senior leadership role with autonomy and responsibility, • Stable operation with a large, established asset base, • Opportunity to make a tangible impact on performance and reliability Interested?
