Production assistant required to make handmade small animal toys and accessories for a small business. Duties include drilling holes in wood and fitting fixings, measuring, cutting and tying rope, twisting and cutting wire and other general duties. Products are predominantly made from wood and rope. Experience with hand and power tools necessary. The successful candidate will need to be able to work quickly and efficiently and follow verbal and written instructions. Schedule of work: 1 week day evening per week, 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm (currently this is Wednesday but this may be negotiable).
