This is a key leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse civils programme of works across the UK. If you’re looking for an opportunity to influence operational standards, develop teams, and support a business on a strong growth trajectory, this could be the ideal next step.\n\nBenefits\n\nClear career progression pathways\nSupport with training, development, and industry certifications\nCompany vehicle\nCompany pension scheme\nLife assurance\nOpportunities to influence operational strategy and continuous improvement\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPlan, coordinate, and deliver civil projects witihn the commercial, construction and water treatment indsutries across the UK\nLead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring defined scopes, accurate programmes of work, and full QSHE compliance\nScope, estimate, and quote civils works with accuracy and timely turnaround\nMonitor project progress, financial performance, and labour utilisation, taking corrective action where required\nAttend sites to review proposals, RAMS, layouts, and ensure contractual requirements can be met\nManage all aspects of the colleague lifecycle including recruitment, training, performance, payroll, holidays, and scheduling\nSupport senior leadership in driving QSHE compliance and operational excellence\nManage accident/incident reporting, investigations, and implementation of learnings\nReview and assess RAMS to ensure they remain fit for purpose\nKey Performance Indicators\n\nAccuracy of planning and forecasting\nTimely and accurate quotation turnaround\nEfficient labour utilisation\nFinancial performance against budget\nTeam performance and development\nDefects and customer satisfaction\nQSHE compliance and performance\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nIOSH or CITB SMSTS (5‑Day) and valid CSCS card\n5–10 years’ experience in civils/drainage planning and management within the water or civils sector\nProven experience as a Civils Construction Manager or Contracts Manager\nStrong technical knowledge of industry standards, specifications, and CDM Regulations\nExperience leading teams, developing talent, and managing performance\nStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Teams)\nValid UK driving licence\nSimilar Job Titles\n\nCivils Manager, Civils Construction Manager, Civils Contracts Manager, Civils Operations Manager, Civils Project Manager, Civils Delivery Lead, Civils Supervisor\n \n Interaction Recruitment support clients and candidates across Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and more throughout the UK.
