BESS Sales Manager – UK (London - EC1) Hybrid working (3 days onsite per week) SR2 are partnering with an ambitious global energy storage business that has just launched its UK operations. With a newly established London office and strong international backing, the Country Manager is building the UK team from scratch. We’re supporting the hire of a BESS Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the UK and wider European markets. If you thrive in fast-paced clean energy environments and understand the technical detail behind battery storage systems, this is your opportunity to shape a market from day one. What you’ll be doing: • Leading market development for utility-scale and C&I energy storage projects, • Driving business negotiations, contract signing, and securing project payments, • Researching and assessing demand across the UK and overseas BESS markets, • Analysing market trends and influencing pricing and product strategy, • Acting as a commercial bridge between UK customers and global technical teams What we’re looking for: • Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies (PCS, BESS, power systems), • 1+ years’ experience in international new energy project sales or development, • Understanding of technical standards, compliance, and product lifecycle processes, • Background in engineering, electrochemistry, power electronics, automation control or similar, • Commercially driven, proactive and confident engaging with senior stakeholders, • Global mindset with excellent communication and coordination skills This is a rare opportunity to join at launch stage and play a foundational role in building the UK business.
