BIM Manager Cambridge/Norwich Fulltime/Permanent Salary DOE Role Overview • Lead BIM strategy and management across MEP and building services projects., • Ensure seamless integration of BIM processes to improve coordination, efficiency, and project delivery., • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to maintain high-quality digital models. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for projects., • Lead and mentor BIM Coordinators and Technicians., • Oversee creation, coordination, and maintenance of 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other tools., • Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes and conflicts., • Conduct audits of BIM models and documentation for quality compliance., • Act as primary BIM contact for clients, consultants, and contractors., • Evaluate and implement emerging BIM technologies to improve delivery., • Maintain records of BIM processes, decisions, and changes; prepare reports for senior management. Qualifications & Experience • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field., • Minimum 5 years’ experience in BIM management within building services projects., • Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and associated BIM tools., • Familiarity with UK BIM standards, including PAS 1192 and ISO 19650., • Experience managing BIM on large-scale commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects.
