Overview: • This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of materials, equipment, and services to support operations and project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Lead procurement activities across multiple projects and operational requirements, • Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with business and technical needs, • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and framework agreements to achieve best value, • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and performance targets are met, • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and requirements, • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures, • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks within engineering and industrial sectors, • Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement within the supply chain, • Resolve supplier issues, including delays, non-conformance, and commercial disputes, • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health & safety requirements Key Requirements: • Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or similar procurement role within engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industry, • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements, • Experience managing complex supply chains and working with international suppliers, • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools, • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, • Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset Desirable: • Experience within power, utilities, or industrial infrastructure sectors, • Knowledge of fabrication, mechanical, or electrical components procurement
