The role has been created as a genuine deputy to the Head of HR, offering the opportunity to influence strategy whilst maintaining hands-on involvement in complex operational and transformation activity. \n Key Responsibilities \n Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of HR services across a multi-site organisation. \n • Act as a trusted adviser on complex employee relations, employee engagement and organisational change matters. \n • Support significant growth activity including TUPE transfers, school integrations and workforce transformation projects. \n • Oversee payroll, pensions, compliance and people operations. \n • Drive continuous improvement across HR systems, processes and reporting. \n • Develop meaningful people analytics and workforce insights to support decision making. \n • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, Headteachers and key stakeholders across the organisation. \n • Act as deputy to the Head of HR and provide leadership across the wider HR team \n Ideal candidate \n We're looking for an experienced HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will bring: \n • Strong operational and strategic HR experience. \n • Significant employee relations expertise within a unionised environment. \n • Experience leading change, consultation and organisational transformation activity. \n • The confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders. \n • Education sector experience would be highly desirable, although we would also welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience gained within complex public sector environments.
