Job Title: Lettings Consultant Location: Brentwood Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 basic (OTE £25,000+) About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Candidate to join their successful and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, a professional approach, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in supporting tenants and landlords throughout the lettings process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from enquiry through to move-in. Key Responsibilities • Liaise with prospective tenants to understand their needs and requirements, • Match applicants with suitable rental properties, • Conduct property viewings and provide a high level of customer service, • Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants, • Negotiate rental terms between all parties, • Carry out property inspections to ensure standards are maintained, • Maintain accurate records using internal systems, • Provide professional communication via phone, email, and face-to-face Candidate Requirements Essential • Experience in an office-based or professional environment, • Strong customer-facing experience (in person and over the phone), • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Professional, confident, and well-presented, • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop, • IT literate (MS Office and able to pick up new systems quickly), • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Desirable • Previous experience within lettings, estate agency, or property, • Background in sales, customer service, or call centre environments, • Experience working in a target-driven environment Key Attributes • People-focused with strong relationship-building skills, • Driven and motivated to succeed, • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and organisation, • Professional and presentable at all times What's on Offer • Competitive basic salary with OTE earning potential, • Structured training and development, • Clear career progression opportunities, • Birthday day off, • Company pension, • Team events and incentives, • Performance-related rewards and recognition, • Referral programme, • Increasing holiday entitlement with service Working Hours • Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 6:00pm, • Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm, • Saturday: 9:00am - 4:00pm (5-day week with a day off in lieu)
