As a crucial member of our team, you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the efficient operation of our yard. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing equipment for loading and collection, • Selecting stock and meticulously preparing all orders for dispatch to ensure accuracy and attention to detail. • Efficiently loading and unloading vehicles as per the daily logistics plan, handling items with care to maximise efficiency. • Checking in returned stock and ensuring proper storage and handling, promptly reporting any repairs or replacements needed. • Operating site machinery and tools (training provided as necessary) to support yard operations. • Maintaining a tidy and organised yard environment to foster a safe and productive workspace. • Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols to uphold personal and team well-being. • Championing recycling and material reuse initiatives to support our sustainability goals. While forklift and telehandler tickets would be advantageous, we are committed to providing training for suitable candidates. A valid driving licence is required. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4.30pm, 45 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Flexibility in hours may occasionally be required.
