Senior Sales Executive/Manager Basic: £40,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience) OTE: £50,000 to £60,000 in year 1 (uncapped) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Excellent future progression opportunities A really exciting position for a friendly and energetic person to join an established, successful Events and Digital Publishing company. Ideal if you are a passionate, articulate Sales person with prior experience in selling Advertising Space, Media, Digital or Events looking to work in a positive and fast-paced environment. The Role We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive/Manager to work across an exciting portfolio of Events, Magazines, and Digital products. The role is sales-focused but also allows for creativity and progression as the products develop and evolve. Responsibilities • Ensure sales targets (personal and product) are achieved above and beyond each month, • Have a solid understanding of the sales process, digital and live event, with the ability to share knowledge with members of the team, • Know your stuff: industry, competitor analysis, publications, key brands, what’s best for your clients, inventory, show and digital targets - and how to increase revenue year on year, • Know your figures: digital and publication target, revenue, year on year comparison, yields, total pagination vs available, number of clients, new business, and retention, • Be responsible and take the lead on for solving problems and issues as they arise: amendments, accounts, managing cancellations, • Back management decisions publicly and suggest constructive ideas, • Implement a strategy/vision for your client base (content and composition), • Communicate with the team ensure your knowledge is shared, • Ensure CRM is kept up to date at all times, • Maintain and increase business development - increase new lead sources, • Build client relationships - client management, client retention, • Enforce company policy and procedures Ideal candidate • Great telephone manner, • Fun and happy team player, • Past experience in delivering successful sales revenue, • Lead from the front and set the standard, • A professional networker, • A strategic and proactive thinker and planner, • Organized with an eye for detail, • Role-model, encourage, motivate, guide, and support, • Problem-solving, • Honest and have transparency and integrity Benefits • Fun and vibrant working environment, • Working on some amazing brands, • You will feel like part of a family, • You will be valued, you’re not just a number, • Encourage you to develop your skills, strengths, and career, • Recognition of your contribution and hard work, • Make sure you’re never bored, • Great company parties!
