Assistant Site Manager - Planned Maintenance • Location: Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, • Project Type: External Works, • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Package, • Company: Leading UK Property Services Contractor The Role We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a leading UK property services company, delivering external works across residential properties within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to a high standard, and in line with client expectations. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a well-established contractor on a prestigious local authority contract. Key Responsibilities • Support the Site Manager with the daily running of external works projects, • Supervise subcontractors and operatives on site, • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality standards, and specifications, • Monitor health & safety compliance, RAMS, and site documentation, • Assist with site inspections, quality checks, and snagging, • Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics, • Liaise with Resident Liaison Officers to minimise disruption to residents, • Maintain accurate site records and reporting, • Ensure works comply with client and company procedures Requirements • Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor within social housing or residential projects, • Strong experience delivering external works (e.g. roofing, cladding, windows, facades, brickwork, balconies), • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures, • Ability to manage subcontractors and work to tight programmes, • Strong organisational and communication skills, • SMSTS or SSSTS (SMSTS preferred), • First Aid and CSCS certifications desirable What’s on Offer • Competitive salary of £40,000 – £45,000, • Comprehensive package including benefits, • Must have your own car, • Opportunity to work on a high-profile Kensington & Chelsea contract, • Long-term career progression with a market-leading contractor, • Supportive management team and structured working environment
