New Business Client Advisor We are working with a growing insurance brokerage seeking a proactive and ambitious New Business Client Advisor to drive growth within their commercial portfolio. This is a highly sales-focused, new business role, ideal for someone motivated by winning new clients, building relationships, and contributing directly to business growth. The Role • Take ownership of new business generation, with 80% of your time dedicated to prospecting and client acquisition, • Support an Account Executive on 20% of cases, assisting with new business quotes and client interactions, • Target clients across Commercial, • Handle policies with premiums typically ranging from £4,000 to £50,000, • Generate new opportunities via warm leads, referrals, proactive outreach, email campaigns and follow-up calls, • Attend client meetings to present proposals, build relationships, and close business (typically once per month, with flexibility to do more), • Place business using a mix of e-trade and manual market broking, • Achieve a monthly new business target, focused on delivering quality placements and measurable growth Experience Required • 2–3 years’ experience in general commercial insurance, • Enthusiastic about new business development – previous new business experience is advantageous but not essential, • Confident in managing client relationships at all levels, • Strong communication and persuasive skills, with the ability to convert prospects into clients, • Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to drive results in a target-driven environment What’s on Offer • Pure new business focus with clear targets and measurable results, • Strong pipeline of warm leads alongside opportunities for proactive prospecting, • Exposure to a diverse range of commercial clients
