Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Cook located in Halifax. The Head Cook will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, creating menus, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation, managing inventory, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards. The Head Cook will also be responsible for training and mentoring kitchen staff, creating new recipes, and working with management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Culinary skills, including creating menus, preparing meals, and ensuring food quality and presentation
Experience in kitchen management, including supervising staff and managing inventory
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience as a Head Cook or similar role is preferred
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus
