Senior Account Manager/Account Director – Enterprise Retail (SaaS) Hybrid | Gloucestershire (1 day per week on-site) | £Competitive + uncapped commission An established, high-growth SaaS business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Account Manager/Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of large, complex Tier 1 retail clients. This is a senior, commercially focused role for someone who thrives on building long-term partnerships, driving account growth, and acting as a trusted advisor to household-name retail brands. You’ll sit at the heart of the customer relationship, balancing commercial performance with genuine customer success. The Opportunity You’ll manage and grow a number of strategic enterprise accounts, ensuring clients maximise value from the platform while identifying opportunities for expansion, renewal, and deeper collaboration. Beyond revenue, this role plays a critical part in shaping customer experience and influencing internal teams to deliver outstanding outcomes. Working closely with sales, product, operations, and legal teams, you’ll lead everything from strategic account planning and forecasting through to commercial negotiations and executive-level engagement. What You’ll Be Doing • Owning and developing senior relationships across major retail clients, • Creating and executing strategic account plans focused on growth and retention, • Leading renewals, commercial negotiations, and full tender processes, • Identifying and mitigating churn risk while uncovering new revenue opportunities, • Delivering QBRs, presentations, and performance updates to senior stakeholders, • Forecasting revenue accurately and maintaining strong CRM discipline, • Acting as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product and delivery priorities What We’re Looking For • Proven experience managing enterprise or Tier 1 retail accounts within a SaaS or technology-led environment, • Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and contract negotiation, • Confidence engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders in complex organisations, • A consultative, solutions-led approach to account management, • Experience leading or contributing to RFP/RFI/RFQ and tender processes, • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple strategic accounts Package & Benefits • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with buy/sell options), • Private medical insurance, life assurance, enhanced family benefits, • Strong pension contribution and wellbeing support, • Excellent training, development, and progression opportunities, • High-quality tech setup provided, • Additional benefits including cycle to work and electric car salary sacrifice schemes
