Your New Role... Join Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as an Electrician and play a key role in keeping our world-class facilities running to the highest standards. Working alongside our Facilities team, you'll be hands-on with the maintenance and installation of electrical systems across the studio, helping to support the productions that bring blockbuster films and TV shows to life. No two days are the same; from electrical projects and fault-finding to broader site maintenance tasks, you'll enjoy a varied role with opportunities to expand your skills across the wider facilities function. Primarily based at our Leavesden studio, you'll also have the chance to support projects at other locations when required. Your Role Accountabilities... • Monitor completion of tasks, ensuring the highest standards of work., • Monitor H&S compliance, such as correct PPE being worn, as per the H&S at Work Act and WBSL H&S Policy., • Ensure that the site's electrical and mechanical equipment are looked after in such a way as to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance., • Set approved levels of conduct for work methodology within the team., • Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems via the BMS, • Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems., • Fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification., • Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections including areas at height., • Audit and review of all stock levels and report to the Senior Electrician any required orders., • Ensure all maintenance activities and procedures adhere to applicable health and safety legislation, policies, and best practise guidelines. Your New Role... We have an exciting opportunity available within our dynamic Technical Services team. The role is responsible for frontline Duty Technician as and when required in response to the day-to-day technical needs of the attraction. You will also be required to provide the highest levels of customer service to visitors to the attraction and internal customers. Your Role Accountabilities... Setup, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and control all aspects of industry leading show technology including lighting, sound, video, show control and integrated systems to ensure consistent visitor experience Ensure all WBSTL technical and exhibition related maintenance requirements are delivered within agreed schedules and standards. Assist with the delivery of live events as and when required. Ensure public and staff safety at all times. Monitor protection of assets and equipment within the tour areas in order to maintain the level of quality, reliability and maximise life span. Maintain good communication channels across all departments including Visitor Experience, Studio Facilities and Corporate Archive. Work as part of a project team for feature development, installation and maintenance projects as directed by the Technical Services Management team. Contribute to the day-to-day running of the WBSTL and form part of the Visitor Services team covering weekends, evenings and school holidays 363 days a year on a shift pattern involving AM and PM shifts. Qualifications & Experiences... Proven track record in a similar maintenance position, preferably in the entertainment, visitor attraction or service industry. Knowledge of live event production and the relevant audio-visual skills involved in the delivery of such events. Experience of working with installed audio-visual show systems and fault finding and trouble shooting on these as required. Basic carpentry and maintenance skills and a good working knowledge of workshop environments. Previous experience of working in an operational and customer facing environment where there are significant numbers of the general public on site. Proven IT skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated packages. Basic knowledge of I.T switch networks and I.P based control systems. Working Pattern This is a twelve month fixed term contract full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week. The role operates on a flexible rota, including a mix of early, mid, and late shifts. Shift times range from 6:30 AM (earliest start) to 10:45 PM (latest finish). The successful candidate will be required to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.
