Hunterlodge is looking for an experienced and curious GEO & Digital Visibility Specialist to join our growing digital team. This is a unique opportunity for a search marketer who not only understands the fundamentals of SEO but is also excited by the rapid evolution of AI-driven search, generative SERPs, and emerging visibility opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping our clients stay discoverable, trusted, and positioned as thought leaders - from Google’s AI Overviews to Bing Copilot and beyond. This role blends technical SEO expertise with creative content marketing and digital PR skills, making you central to delivering integrated campaigns that drive measurable impact. Key Responsibilities • Search Strategy Development: Design and deliver SEO and GEO strategies that maximise visibility across Google Search, AI Overviews, generative platforms, and key Higher Education portals., • AI Search Optimisation: Stay ahead of AI-driven search (Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude and emerging AI search engines such as You.com, Phind, and others), testing and refining approaches to boost brand presence and share of voice in generative results., • Content, Visibility & Digital PR: Develop and optimise authoritative, search-friendly content. Ensure client content across websites and Higher Education listings remains accurate, up to date, and discoverable. Lead digital PR campaigns to secure backlinks, media mentions, and partnerships that build authority and trust signals., • Technical SEO & Analytics: Run audits, entity/keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimisation. Track performance with dashboards, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights for continuous improvement., • Collaboration: Partner with content, creative, and paid media teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Educate clients and colleagues and contribute expertise to new business pitches., • Client Facing: Present campaign insights and recommendations directly to clients, leading discussions in performance reviews and innovation workshops. About You • Proven track record in SEO, with strong technical and content knowledge., • Awareness (ideally hands-on experience) of optimising for AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other conversational search engines., • Experience in (or strong interest in) the Higher Education sector is desirable but not essential., • Strong understanding of content marketing and Higher Education portals, with the ability to ensure content remains accurate, engaging, and up to date., • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalents., • Analytical and data-driven mindset, paired with creative flair for campaign ideas and content., • Excellent communicator, able to turn complex strategies into clear, actionable recommendations., • Confident and engaging presenter, comfortable leading day-to-day client discussions, presenting campaign performance, and contributing to innovation sessions.
