Key Responsibilities:
Cut, trim, bone, and prepare various types of meats including beef, lamb, poultry, and specialty cuts.
Use knives and other butchery tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure all meat products are prepared and displayed to high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer appeal.
Weigh, pack, label, and price meat products for retail and wholesale customers.
Monitor product stock levels and advise on reordering when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the butchery section at all times.
Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering advice on cuts, preparation, and cooking methods.
Follow health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of meat.
