Responsibilities: * Researching, developing, and implementing innovative machine learning techniques to Stats Perform’s wealth of sports data, across various sports, such as soccer and tennis. * Productizing your models alongside engineers and product teams, in a quick and efficient way. * Presenting your solutions to other internal teams, broadening AI proficiency in the company. * Providing technical guidance to various teams on the artificial intelligence approaches that our team uses. * Identify new AI solutions for emerging problems, create requirements and propose an outline a roadmap for delivering the project. * Support, train and mentor team members on best machine learning implementation practices. Required Qualifications: * Master’s or PhD in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics or related STEM fields. * 3+ years of experience working as a data scientist (or similar role). * Expert proficiency of Python and experience using SQL, alongside using common ML/AI packages (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.). * Familiarity with statistical (e.g. GLM, GAMs) and deep learning techniques (e.g. neural networks, transformers, diffusion models, etc.). * Comfortable designing and creating neural network architectures, tree-based methods and applying upcoming technologies from scratch. We want you to be the creator of the next generation of AI models from Stats Perform! * Experience deploying models in cloud environments (such as AWS/Google Cloud), making models production-ready and integrating them in end-to-end cloud pipelines. Role: Building Safety Consultant or Building Regs Principal Designer Location: Remote role - Projects across London/ South East Sector: CDM/ Principal Designer practice Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 + bonus scheme + attractive benefits package WRG has partnered with an independent CDM/ Principal Designer consultancy, they are looking to appoint an experienced building control surveyor or registered building inspector to sit within a recently established BSA sister company and deliver the Building Regs PD service to clients. The business operates across London & South East, working with a range of clients and delivering a CDM/ PD service on projects from £300k up to £500m. They have developed an excellent reputation within the industry which has lead to repeat business and their brand growing from strength to strength. They are now looking to hire experienced building control professionals, ideally from an Approved Inspector background due to the commercial nature of their projects. This role is ideally suited to individuals who have recently completed their ACA/ACCA qualification - most likely from an external audit background who are looking for their first move into industry. You will play a key part in the Group’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles, supporting consolidation, technical accounting, statutory reporting, process improvement and controls. Financial Controls & Process Improvement: * Assist with periodic Balance Sheet and financial controls reviews. * Help support the strengthening of the Group’s financial control environment, including documentation and compliance. * Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and efficiency gains across reporting processes. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: * Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal and local finance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment in reporting. * Support ad hoc finance projects such as system enhancements, M&A integrations, group reorganisation, and data‑quality initiatives. Required Qualifications: * Strong experience auditing consolidated groups, international businesses, or complex entities is highly desirable. * Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of IFRS (particularly consolidation, financial instruments, revenue, leases). * Confident working with large datasets and comfortable with Excel. * Experience with ERP or consolidation tools is helpful but not essential (training will be provided). * Newly qualified ACA/ACCA. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis * Own monthly P&L reporting for non-compensation expenses , ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery * Support monthly financial close activities and variance analysis across all expense categories * Prepare detailed expense analysis and commentary for management reporting packages * Monitor expense trends and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities or budget risks * Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests Budgeting & Forecasting * Support the annual budgeting process for non-compensation expenses , partnering with budget owners across the organization * Support quarterly forecast updates for expense categories, ensuring alignment with business activities and strategic priorities * Develop and maintain budget tracking tools and documentation * Ensure budget assumptions are well-supported, defensible, and properly documented Business Partnering - Internal Functions * Serve as the primary FP&A partner for Finance, HR, Facilities, Legal, Integrity, and Content teams * Build strong relationships with budget owners and department heads across internal support functions * Provide financial insights, budget tracking, and decision support to partnered functions * Translate departmental needs into financial requirements and communicate financial constraints clearly * Participate in business planning discussions and provide financially sound recommendations * Support business case development and ROI analysis for internal initiatives Essential Experience: * 3-5+ years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to FP&A, financial reporting, or management accounting * Part-Qualified (preferably CIMA) contemplated * Demonstrated experience managing expense budgets and reporting processes * Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate variances and identify root causes * Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and translating financial concepts for diverse audiences * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines * Background in media, sports, technology, or professional services environment is advantageous Desired Qualifications: * Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and high degree of accuracy * Solid understanding of P&L statements, expense accounting, and budgeting processes * Strong communication skills—able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance partners * Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with ability to work independently * Collaborative working style with ability to build effective relationships across functions * Intellectually curious with desire to understand business operations and commercial drivers * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Professional maturity and sound business judgment Why work at Stats Perform?
