Part-Time Senior HR Advisor Vacancy, Bradford, West Yorkshire 22.5 Hours per week, 1 day in the office, 2 days WFH £35,000-£40,000 (FTE) \n HR Recruit is working with an expanding consultancy organisation to recruit an experienced HR professional to join a growing team. The purpose of the role is to provide pragmatic, commercial, legally compliant and solution-orientated HR advice and guidance to line managers within our client businesses. They coach line managers to address and resolve Employee Relations issues with their teams promptly, in a manner that preserves the manager/employee relationship and builds competency and performance at all levels within the client’s organisation. \n Role responsibilities \n\n • Providing HR advice and guidance online and by telephone to our clients’ line manager community across the full spectrum of ER issues, including dismissals, grievance/appeals and other complex scenarios.\n, • Escalating complex, risky or sensitive cases to appropriate colleagues, who may be in-house or sit within the client’s business.\n, • Proactively and effectively managing ER cases, ensuring that key interventions such as suspensions are kept to a minimum and other case management events are progressed robustly without delay.\n, • Providing HR advice in line with client-specific service level agreements and business rules.\n, • Capturing and tracking all advice provided on the in-house case management system.\n, • Acting as a mentor or escalation point for HR Advisers and HR Assistants, providing supportive guidance on complex cases or taking over cases once they escalate beyond their role scope.\n, • Coaching in-house colleagues and supporting managers in our client businesses through the management of people issues, including commercially sensitive situations and how to handle the more “difficult conversations”.\n, • Supporting occasional and ad hoc projects, be they in-house or to support HR transformation within our client businesses.\n\n Person specification \n\n • Degree qualification in HR or a business-related subject, or CIPD Level 5 qualified, or Management or legal qualification\n, • Three or more years’ HR experience within an advisory role having had significant exposure to complex ER issues.\n, • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, solid experience in the application of company policies and procedures.\n, • Proficient with and comfortable using telephony and computer systems, particularly the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, SharePoint etc.).\n, • Confident to communicate with managers and business owners at all levels, with a style that is clear, engaging, coaching and collaborative.\n, • Able to engage with and influence a wide range of service users.\n, • A committed team player who is driven to continuously improve and to encourage and support colleagues.\n, • Ability to work flexibly to deadlines and respond positively and constructively to feedback.\n\n You will be required to work one Saturday each month, with a day off in lieu during the week. In addition, you will work one bank holiday per year (excluding Christmas). Flexible working hours are available. In return, the role offers a salary of £35,000–£40,000 FTE together with excellent benefits. \n The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
