We are looking for a high-calibre Operations Analyst to join a fast-paced, buy-side environment, supporting the London Asset Management platform and UK Operations team. This role offers broad exposure across multiple strategies and asset classes, working closely with Front Office, Risk, and external counterparties. YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS BUY SIDE OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE. Key Responsibilities • Provide end-to-end middle and back-office support across multi-asset strategies, including Credit, Equities, Commodities, and Rates, • Support trading activity across a diverse product set: equities, CFDs, listed derivatives, futures, FX, IRS, CDS, and government & corporate bonds, • Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations, ensuring integrity of books and records, • Investigate and resolve breaks in collaboration with prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties, • Manage trade lifecycle events, including affirmations and confirmations via platforms such as MarkitWire and ICE Link, • Maintain and oversee instrument setup and static data management, • Partner with Portfolio Managers and Trading desks on daily P&L production, validation, and sign-off, • Support monthly valuation processes, including Independent Price Verification (IPV) and P&L reconciliation to fund administrators, • Contribute to operational scalability through process improvement initiatives and project work, • 3–5 years’ experience in a buy-side operations or middle office role (asset manager or hedge fund preferred), • Strong front-to-back understanding of multi-asset products and trade flows, • Solid knowledge of trade lifecycle, valuation, and reconciliation processes within an investment management environment, • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II; UCITS knowledge is beneficial, • Strong analytical mindset with a control-focused approach and high attention to detail, • Confident communicator, comfortable interacting with Front Office and external counterparties, • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, high-performance environment, • Technical skills (SQL, VBA) are advantageous, • Experience with Sophis or similar OMS/PMS platforms is a plus, • Competitive compensation package, • Comprehensive benefits including private medical, dental, and life insurance, • Pension scheme and travel insurance, • Wellness initiatives, including on-site gym and health assessments, • Cycle to work and electric vehicle schemes, • Employee assistance programme and wellbeing support, • Season ticket loan and childcare benefits
