Essential Responsibilities: * Be a leading architect for a few development teams through all phases of the Agile development life cycle * Rapid prototyping through mindful use of company resources and tech stacks * Design solutions to business needs by documenting systems, data, and business logic of an end-to-end business process. * Influence and collaborate with software developers, UX designers, product managers application architects, and customer application experts to create amazing apps * Ensure compliance with architecture, security and technology standards set by Synchrony * Assist in crafting and maintaining the future state technology architectural strategy and roadmap * Participate in Agile scrums consisting of cross-functional teams * Participate in addressing root cause analyses, incident reports and provide direction in problem resolution * Ability to analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, and implement fixes * Provide 24x7 on-call support periodically throughout the year * Passionate about the latest technologies, open source projects and languages * Identify ways to increase efficiency and improve system performance * Work with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into the company's products * Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Responsibilities • Assist in Scan-to-BIM workflows including LiDAR scanning and point cloud processing., • Produce highly detailed 3D models using Revit, consistent with AEC industry guidelines, and LiRo standards and practices., • Create design and construction documentation including axonometric 3D views, sections and elevations., • Create 4D models using resource loaded P6 schedules and Fuzor/Synchro., • Create renderings and simulations on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use, • Use tools such as Navisworks and ACC to support project collaboration and coordination across multiple disciplines., • Interface with Construction/Design teams to coordinate BIM content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery., • Visualize and create reports on an ongoing basis., • Troubleshoot BIM software and platform issues and stay current with emerging tools and technologies. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an AEC-related discipline., • Min. 3 years of hands-on experience working as a BIM/VDC Professional., • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical audiences., • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules., • Proficiency in Autodesk products such as Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and ACC Model Coordination., • Strong Revit Modeling experience., • Experience working with Public Sector clients / projects is highly preferred., • Experience with software development using Revit APIs, Python, and Dynamo is a plus., • Familiarity with Bentley software, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, or IBM Maximo is advantageous., • Valid Driver's License, ability to drive to job sites., • This position requires often driving to, working from client/field offices in and around NYC areas., • The candidate must be authorized to work in the USA., • Visa Sponsorship is not available. What does the Sales Solutions Architecture Team do? Sales Solution Architects work in partnership with Solutions Specialists (Sales Representatives) and serve as their technical counterparts in all phases of the sales lifecycle. From evangelizing technologies to demonstrating our feature-rich Cloud Reliability Platform, our job is to help customers figure out and solve their cloud initiatives. We do this by taking a consultative approach in our discovery and assessment phases with the output being solutions that are built with reliability, performance, and security baked-in on top of our Managed Cloud Portfolio. As an integral part of the Solutions Architecture team, you will design systems that are purpose-built and well suited to their target infrastructure. As an AWS Senior Solutions Architect, you will: • Represent the technical expertise of RapidScale and act to position RapidScale as an agnostic trusted advisor to customers in the sales process, • Provide Pre-Sales technical support to the go-to-market team to drive revenue and cloud adoption, • Conduct full technical discovery and assessment workshops to identify pain points and gather business and technical requirements. This will include Well-Architected Reviews, Migration Readiness Assessments, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, etc., • Consult with prospects and architect solutions aligned with the identified customer requirements by leveraging the Well-Architected Framework methodology, • Produce cost and labor estimates and SOWs for potential projects, • Collaborate and participate in the creation of technical collateral, documentation, pitch and presentation materials (e.g. SOWs, HLDs, Decks, Reference Architectures), • Provide technical training sessions and workshops for Sales and Go to Market staff, • Clearly document and communicate proposed architectures to implementation teams during and after the pre-sales cycle to validate and verify project success, • Interface with the Product team and provide feedback for improving product quality and capabilities by leveraging information gathered in field engagements, • Provide thought leadership by speaking at industry events such as trade shows, panels or marketing events as well as publishing blog posts, white papers and participating in case studies What Technical Attributes We're Looking for In You: • Relevant Industry-leading certification required: AWS Solutions Architect Professional • Experience working in fast-paced sales environments, • Hands-on experience with AWS migrations, deployments, etc., • Deep understanding of AWS with hands-on experience with migrations, deployments, etc., • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and traditional datacenter infrastructure, • Understanding of IaaS / PaaS / SaaS platforms; e.g. EC2, RDS, etc., • Understanding of containerization & virtualization technologies; e.g Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, ECS, etc., • Understanding IaC tools; e.g. Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, • Understanding of different Disaster Recovery and data protection principles, • Understanding of PCI, HIPAA, GDPR regulatory compliance frameworks, • Understanding of Relational and Non-Relational Databases (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NoSQL, etc.) Minimum Qualifications: • A BA/BS Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a MS Degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Ph.D with one year of experience, or 10 years of overall experience without a degree, • Professional Level Public Cloud Certification (AWS, Azure, Google), • Background and experience working in the context of a sales team, • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills, • Strong analytical problem-solving ability, • High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal organizations, • Ability to speak at public events in front of large audiences is a bonus, • Fluency in English USD 151,400.00 - 227,200.00 Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $151,400.00 - $227,200.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $52,800.00.
