Professionals in this position gain exposure to: • Retail and commercial banking account operations, • Customer relationship management and service excellence, • Financial regulatory compliance and audit processes, • Banking product knowledge including deposit accounts and related services, • Support branch operations by opening and servicing a variety of customer accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and fiduciary accounts, • Guide customers through account setup by collecting documentation, verifying identity, and ensuring regulatory compliance, • Process account updates, changes, and transfers while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal policies, • Perform teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and other client banking activities, • Provide high-quality client service by resolving account issues, answering questions about banking products, and supporting customer requests, • Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services in alignment with branch initiatives, • Assist with branch operational reporting including daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, • Support internal branch audit and certification processes to maintain operational compliance, • Maintain accurate records and documentation through scanning, filing, and updating account information, • 3+ years of experience in retail banking operations, new accounts processing, or branch client services, • Experience opening and servicing consumer and business accounts including deposit accounts and certificates of deposit, • Familiarity with fiduciary or trust account documentation and legal documents used in financial account setup, • Working knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements for account opening and servicing, • Experience processing teller transactions and operating a teller cash drawer, • Strong customer service and relationship management skills within a financial services environment, • Experience working with banking platforms or account opening systems (experience with Horizon Classic or Horizon XE is a strong plus), • Solid understanding of branch operations, banking terminology, and financial products, • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks, • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members, • Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
