Job Description Job Title: Cleanroom Assembly Technician Job Description Join a new department where you'll play a critical role in assembling square layered cell stacks in a cleanroom environment. Your work will involve following detailed written instructions and visual diagrams, using templates to precisely align layers, and ensuring the quality and cleanliness of each stack. Responsibilities • Assemble square layered cell stacks in a cleanroom environment, maintaining precision and alignment within templates., • Follow written work instructions and visual diagrams to ensure accurate order of layers., • Conduct quality checks to ensure alignment and cleanliness, using an air gun to remove any dust or debris., • Document all work and collaborate closely with the engineering team., • 3-5 years of experience in small component assembly., • Proficiency in working with operation sheets, written work instructions, and diagrams., • Close attention to detail, precision, and delicacy in handling components., • Experience with small component or electrical assembly is advantageous. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a newly established department where you can contribute to building its foundation. You will work in a well-lit, quiet, and climate-controlled cleanroom environment with a small, collaborative team. Enjoy a standard weekday schedule with potential for future adjustments to suit personal preferences. Work Environment The work environment is a well-lit, very quiet, and climate-controlled cleanroom. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, smocks, gowns, booties, steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses. No additional personal protective equipment or certifications are required. You will work closely with one other individual in the department, fostering a collaborative and focused atmosphere. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential future shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Windsor, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
