Job Description JOB TITLE: Event Operations Coordinator LOCATION: Viking Lakes 2685 Vikings Circle Eagan, MN 55121 TYPE: Full-time, Regular, $55,000 - $60,000 SUMMARY: MV Ventures (“MVV”) is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to cultivate and assist event operations at Viking Lakes. From TCO Stadium events, Vikings Museum, weekly programming and campus wide initiatives, Viking Lakes will become the next great entertainment destination in the Twin Cities. This position will be involved in event operations big and small, collaborate with event and campus operations staff daily, and bring events to life for clients and partners. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with the planning and execution of events, including private events, sporting events, stadium events, and campus-wide programming., • Support event logistics including setup/teardown of equipment, and staffing., • Coordinate event-day operations in alignment with event run of show, schedules, and operational timelines., • Collaborate with event organizers, internal teams, and external partners to support successful event execution., • Serve as an on-site point of contact for event staff, vendors, and service partners during assigned events., • Monitor the cleanliness and upkeep of the stadium, including restrooms, concourses, and seating areas., • Supervise custodial crews and ensure high standards of cleanliness on event days., • Review and submit maintenance issues, such as repairs and replacements, via maintenance management systems., • Manage and coordinate stadium vendors, including food/beverage, custodial, security and parking services., • Ensure staff vendors adhere to safety, quality and operational protocols., • Maintain accurate inventory levels and organized storage of stadium and event equipment, including restroom and cleaning supplies, to support event operations., • Coordinate the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies., • Address stadium issues and concerns with the appropriate stakeholders., • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including event organizers, vendors, and staff., • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations., • Assist with maintaining accurate event documentation, operational records, and post-event notes., • Support cross-department collaboration to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality event operations. EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: • Bachelor's degree in events and hospitality, sports management, communications, marketing, or related., • One (1) year of event operations and/or stadium management experience., • Highly organized and detail oriented., • Ability to efficiently work on multiple projects at once., • Experience leading teams with team-effort attitude and goals., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and customer service presence., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)., • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various situations that may arise on the spot., • Professional and confident self-starter and self-motivator., • The ability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. OTHER COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: • High level of attention to detail, demonstrating initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, and integrity., • Effectively communicate (oral and written) in a professional manner on a regular basis with team members, leadership, residents, tenants and vendors., • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also effectively working as part of a team., • Dependable, accountable and punctual; willingness to work overtime and on-call, as well evenings, weekends and holidays as needed., • Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to adapt to changing priorities; remain focused under pressure; able to meet deadlines., • Treat others with respect; show sensitivity to and respect for cultural differences; support diverse workforce and help to ensure workplaces and living communities are free from unlawful discrimination and harassment., • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with regard to sensitive proprietary and confidential information of company, residents, tenants and customers. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 lbs. Will be on your feet and mobile frequently, both inside and outside of buildings. Ability to work outside for long periods of time, in temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to operate heavy equipment, machinery and tools preferred not required.
