About the Role This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The Patient Service Representative assumes a pivotal role in our practice relating directly and indirectly to patient satisfaction and to the ultimate success of the clinic. Given the integral nature of the position, the front office medical assistant’s demeanor must be reflective at all times of the highest quality standards of professionalism exemplified by Southwest Pulmonary as a division of Sound Physicians. This role will serve as both the first and last point of contact for or patients. The perfect candidate must be a team player, highly motivated and demonstrate a positive attitude. This individual will assist in checking patients in/out, collecting copays, verifying benefits, scheduling procedures, answering phones, scheduling appointments and other duties as assigned.
