Position Summary The Graduate Assistant (GA) supports the AVP of Campus Operations & Student Success by creating social media content, coordinating and executing campus events, maintaining and revising university web pages, and providing test proctoring support when the librarian is unavailable. Key Responsibilities: Digital Media and Communications • Capture and curate photos and videos of campus life, • Write platform appropriate social media content (Instagram & Facebook) to increase engagement and reach, • Revise and maintain assigned university web pages for accuracy, accessibility, and timeliness, • Plan, promote, and execute events that support campus operations and student success, • Manage logistics such as reserving spaces, submitting facilities/AV requests, coordinating catering, and ordering supplies, • Promote events through flyers, email, digital signage, and social media, • Conduct searches for funding opportunities from federal agencies, foundations, private organizations, and other sources, • Assist in drafting grant proposals, • Track submission deadlines and maintain grant calendar, • Serve as backup test proctor when the librarian is unavailable, following established proctoring protocols, • Current enrollment in a graduate program; good academic standing., • Strong written, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
