What We’re Looking For Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Trainer to join our Training team. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating all facets of the CIT program, MHFA, QPR, and other community trainings provided by Trillium Health Resources. The Training Coordinator builds upon the foundation of the current CIT base of sponsors by collaborating with volunteers, community partners, and Trillium staff to offer specialized training for Law Enforcement in accordance with the pre-arrest jail diversion model set forth by the Memphis Model. On a typical day, you might: • Conduct Mental Health First Aid training, QPR, Responder Strong, CDSMP, and other trainings as needed., • Understand and assist with the Trillium online training system, online portals, websites, and databases that are directly associated with trainings that are provided., • Work collaboratively with the other training coordinators and community members to coordinate training locations. OR Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience with the BH/MH/IDD/SU population is required. OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience with the BH/MH/IDD/SU population is required. OR Equivalent combination of education/experience. Preferred Education: A degree in a Human Services field. Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Law Enforcement. License/Certification: Certification as CIT Coordinator, Youth and/or Adult MHFA instructor within one (1) year of hire. Maintenance of certification is required. Must have a valid driver’s license Location: Remote within Trillium’s Mid-State Region (Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, or Richmond County) OR (Hoke, Lee, Moore, Robeson, or Scotland County) within the Southern Region of our catchment. Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status. Must be able to travel to a Trillium office location and within catchment as required.
