Role Summary: Serves as the central link between inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound logistics. This role ensures inventory accuracy across all stages of the supply chain, coordinates and schedules shipments, verifies order accuracy, and maintains compliance with customer and carrier requirements. Works closely with production, warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams to support smooth operations, accurate deliveries, and cost-effective shipping practices. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor, reconcile, and maintain accurate inventory records across systems and physical locations, • Lead and document regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits, • Analyze inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions, • Maintain accurate SKU-level data, including reorder points, lead times, and stock status, • Coordinate and schedule all outbound shipments, selecting carriers based on cost, service, and delivery requirements, • Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including BOLs, packing lists, and export paperwork when applicable, • Confirm orders are picked, packed, and loaded accurately, ensuring they match customer orders and shipment records, • Communicate with carriers to track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays, • Maintain shipping logs, freight cost records, and carrier performance metrics, • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to align shipping schedules with production completion dates, • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, safety requirements, and customer routing guides, • Assist with freight claims and damage/loss investigations, • Support process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy, freight costs, and on-time delivery performance, • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and logistics processes, • Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl), • Familiarity with freight carriers, shipping platforms, and transportation management systems (TMS), • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; ability to generate and interpret reports, • Excellent organizational and time management skills, • Effective written and verbal communication across departments and with external vendors, • Ability to troubleshoot inventory and shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately, • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and documentation, • This position is typically performed in a warehouse or distribution center office environment, • May require frequent walking through warehouse or production areas, • Must be able to lift up to 25–30 pounds occasionally, • Regular use of computers, scanners, and office equipment, • May involve extended periods of sitting, standing, or data entry, • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment, • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak periods or inventory counts, • High School Grad/GED, College Degree Preferred, • Experience in a supply chain, logistics, or inventory coordination role, • Prior experience with ERP systems and inventory software is required, • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment strongly preferred, • Familiarity with freight coordination, carrier selection, and shipping documentation, • Experience working cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and customer service teams
