Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. - Help with mobility and transferring clients as needed. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements. - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing. - Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. - Administer medications and assist with medical equipment as directed by healthcare professionals. - Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. - Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy at all times. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program preferred. - Current certification as a Home Health Aide or similar credential. - Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting is a plus. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Compassionate and patient demeanor. - Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and transfer clients as necessary. - Capable of performing physical tasks related to patient care. Benefits:
