Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a dedicated team in Denver, CO. This supervisor position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $107,000 annually, based on experience. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with bilingual Spanish/English skills strongly preferred. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Team Leadership & Development, • Manage a team of 2-3 Maintenance Technicians, overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations., • Mentor technicians in advanced troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)., • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning., • Implement training programs for shop fabricating equipment, forklifts, man-lifts, and power hand tools., • Maintenance Strategy & Execution, • Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime by 20%+., • Use CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history., • Analyze maintenance data to optimize schedules and predict failures., • Equipment & Facility Oversight, • Maintain and upgrade CNC machines, laminating equipment, forklifts, air compressors, and facility infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing)., • Coordinate major equipment installations and retrofits with production and engineering teams., • Ensure all equipment meets operational and safety standards through audits and risk assessments., • Budget & Vendor Management, • Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets, including parts procurement and capital expenditures., • Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery., • Safety & Compliance, • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies., • Conduct regular safety training and drills., • Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective action plans., • Continuous Improvement, • Drive lean manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives., • Integrate technologies like IoT sensors and predictive maintenance tools., • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to support prototyping and custom panel production., • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements. Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience (7+ years in industrial maintenance with progressive leadership roles)., • 7-10 years in manufacturing maintenance, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role., • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a manufacturing environment., • Proven ability to manage maintenance for forklifts, air compressors, and shop fabricating equipment. Skills & Qualifications • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems., • Familiarity with PLC programming and CMMS software., • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals., • Experience with lean manufacturing and predictive maintenance technologies., • Strong leadership and communication skills., • Analytical mindset for troubleshooting and data-driven decision-making., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
