Job Description This position reports on-site. Summary: This position is responsible for assisting end-user support and the IT Department in hardware-related preparation/installation/repair/maintenance and general systems administration. Duties and Responsibilities: • Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position, • Interface with other employees, and internal partners providing technical support with desktop issues, • Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain the system server as assigned, • Assist in user/hardware movement and branch locations, • Troubleshoot software/hardware/network, • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and any other authorized equipment, • Customize desktop hardware to meet user specification, • Research situations, resolve production issues, and find resolutions in a professional and timely manner, • Familiarize end-users with basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operation, • Operate within, enforce, and suggest modifications and additions to desktop standards and guidelines Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. Geographic Location: Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 Operating Systems, • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/12, Active Directory, • General Knowledge of IT-related topology and terminology, • Experience with Citrix or VMWare desktop and server virtualization a plus, • Must have the ability to be flexible, work independently, and manage multiple tasks, • Strong organization skills are required, • Responsive follow-thru, and advocacy for employee issues, • Must be able to effectively manage assigned tasks, and effectively communicate with IT Team, vendors, and other individuals involved, • Must have the ability to prioritize numerous issues of varying severity, and effectively manage the resolution of all issues within acceptable service levels, • Must demonstrate the ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools with strong analytical and research skills on issues related to technology While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (Computer Equipment). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus (heavy use of a computer terminal).
