Pay Rate: up to $31/hr on w2 (No C2C or 3rd parties) Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm We are helping a top ride-hailing company hire an experienced Audio-Visual Event Engineer with deep expertise in AV conference room systems and live event support. In this role, you’ll manage, maintain, and troubleshoot AV infrastructure at the company’s Seattle office. You’ll ensure the seamless operation of conference rooms, event spaces, and live broadcasts while driving process improvements across AV and IT systems. We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills. As an Audio-Visual Event Engineer, you will: • Provide end-to-end AV support (on-site and remote) for:, • Conference room systems (Google Meet, Zoom, Logitech equipment, Q-SYS), • Audio/video equipment, projectors, displays, and digital signage, • Live event needs (all-hands, webinars, town halls, corporate events), • Design, implement, and maintain AV/IT support processes, including audits and optimizations., • Troubleshoot AV hardware and systems (Chrome, Logitech, Q-SYS, etc.)., • Operate and support live in-office broadcasts, rotating between audio, video, and graphics roles., • Maintain and operate live event equipment (Q-SYS ecosystem, LED displays, PTZ cameras, projectors, Mac Minis, etc.)., • Manage AV-related software, deployments, upgrades, and maintenance to minimize downtime., • Resolve escalated AV/IT requests via the Helpdesk system with high customer satisfaction., • Support hybrid/remote workers with reliable video conferencing., • Track and maintain AV inventory, recommending upgrades/replacements as needed., • Maintain clean, organized AV spaces (booth, storage, equipment rooms)., • Travel occasionally to domestic and international sites. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in IT and/or AV support, including senior-level troubleshooting and project leadership., • Advanced knowledge of audio-visual equipment troubleshooting (cameras, microphones, amplifiers, displays, AV-over-IP systems)., • Expertise with enterprise conference room technologies (Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, Crestron, Q-SYS, or equivalent)., • Strong understanding of networking concepts (switches, routers, WiFi, VLANs) and how they impact AV system performance., • Hands-on experience managing Apple products using enterprise tools (JAMF, or similar)., • Advanced troubleshooting experience with macOS, Apple hardware, and peripherals., • Experience with ticketing and workflow management systems (JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, or similar)., • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and mentoring abilities., • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple large projects., • Ability to lift and handle heavy AV equipment (50+ lbs) as needed for installations and maintenance., • Previous experience assisting with corporate events or large-scale meetings., • Skilled in navigating corporate tech environments and workflows with ease and efficiency., • This role is a perfect fit for someone who is ready to expand their technical skill set while taking on more project responsibilities and collaborating with senior-level team members.
