Responsibilities include: Assistant/Associate Librarian of Research Instruction & Curriculum • Leadership in Legal Research Instruction: Provide vision and leadership for the design, delivery, and evolution of the Law School’s legal research curriculum. Train and support reference librarians involved in teaching, promoting consistent pedagogy and instructional quality. Lead the library’s participation in curriculum mapping and outcomes assessment initiatives, including contributions to accreditation reporting. Adapt instruction and course offerings in response to institutional priorities, student needs, and broader trends in legal education., • Reference Services: Provide general reference services both in-person and virtually, including office hours and one-on-one research consultations. Assist patrons with a wide range of inquiries from basic bibliographic questions to complex legal research., • Research: Perform extensive, in-depth research across legal, non-legal, and bibliographic domains. The Operations Associate Role Role: The Operations Associate for CSH ALT will play a key role in building and managing the operational foundation of a new and growing school-based program. This individual must be a self-starter with a strong grasp of operational systems, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs. The ideal candidate brings innovation, flexibility, and sound judgment, and is excited to help design and implement effective systems that support staff, students, and the overall success of the program. Responsibility includes: Main Office & Front Desk Support Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors, helping to create a positive and supportive front office experience. Greet all guests with warmth, professionalism, and a strong customer-service mindset. Follow established visitor protocols, including checking IDs, confirming appointments, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to the appropriate staff member. Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, redirect calls, take messages, and provide accurate information as needed. Support daily attendance procedures, including documenting late arrivals in the school’s student information system. Maintain an orderly, calm, and welcoming front-desk environment, even during busy periods, while also providing general administrative support such as organizing materials, updating logs, and responding to student needs as they arise. Facilities, Supplies & Logistics Support the day-to-day operational needs of the program by assisting with the receipt, organization, and distribution of deliveries and supplies. Track inventory and help ensure that classrooms, offices, and common areas remain stocked, organized, and ready for use. Assist with light facilities coordination, including room setups, event preparation, and resetting spaces to support daily programming and school operations. Event & Program Support Provide logistical support for school events and programmatic needs by setting up and breaking down materials for family events, professional development sessions, and other school-based activities. Support the planning and execution of recruitment events, open houses, and student events. Assist staff with logistics during emergency drills, transitions, and other school-wide operational moments to help ensure smooth and efficient execution. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a school or youth-serving organization, supporting operational systems related to front office management, logistics, events, and facilities. They will be a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to problem-solve in real time and work independently showing initiative in a new and evolving program environment. The candidate should have the following: * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure * Experience with school-based operations, administrative systems, or front office procedures preferred * Comfortable learning new systems and adjusting quickly to changing needs * Commitment to creating efficient, student-centered systems that support a strong school culture * Spanish-speaking preferred Hours Classes run on a flexible schedule. CSH_Alt staff work 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, with student classes beginning on or around 3:00 PM. We operate on an alternate summer schedule with additional professional days built into the school year. Fridays are off during the school year and balanced with scheduled summer work focused on synergy and integration across the Operations team. Specific calendar details will be shared during the interview process. Pay and Benefits Salary: $65,000 - $80,000.
