About the Role: As a Chauffeur in our transportation and warehousing division, you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to our clients using non-CDL vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring timely and efficient movement of passengers or goods, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational success. You will manage vehicle maintenance checks, adhere to all traffic laws, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, allowing flexibility while supporting the company’s logistical needs. Ultimately, your role will enhance the overall transportation experience by combining safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. Minimum Qualifications: • NON CDL > Valid driver’s license appropriate for non-CDL vehicle operation., • CDL DRIVERS > Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle class being operated., • CDL DRIVERS > Passenger (P) and Airbrake (A) endorsements., • Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents., • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening., • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols., • Previous experience as a chauffeur or professional driver in a transportation or logistics setting., • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software., • Customer service experience, particularly in a transportation or hospitality environment., • Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively., • Operate non-CDL and/or CDL vehicles to transport clients or goods safely and efficiently according to scheduled routes or assignments., • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptly., • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays encountered during transportation., • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers, answering questions, and ensuring a comfortable and professional environment. The required skills such as safe driving, vehicle inspection, and adherence to traffic laws are essential for daily operations to ensure safety and compliance. Strong communication and customer service skills enable effective interaction with clients, enhancing their experience and satisfaction. Preferred skills like GPS navigation and route planning improve efficiency and punctuality in transportation tasks.
