Job Description Locations - Norfolk & Chesapeake Job description: Territory Manager: As a dynamic leader at Clark Professional Cleaning, you will supervise a dedicated team and actively engage in a spectrum of responsibilities. Your role will encompass strategic planning, client relationship management, overseeing operations, driving initiatives and CLEANING. The ideal candidate will thrive in a multifaceted environment, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills as well as the ability to perform all of the skills of our part time evening cleaning technician as necessary. This includes but is not limited to the cleaning of assigned commercial areas which may include entrances, reception, corridors, conference rooms, classrooms, workspaces, break rooms, and restrooms; performing all work in accordance with company and OSHA standards, working assignments will vary according to site responsibilities, outages (absences) in service/cleaning personnel, and current cleaning contracts. Works inside commercial office buildings, medical and dental facilities, and various learning institutions most of the time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Receives and understands instructions of cleaning requirements of assigned areas. Relays such instructions to the part time evening cleaning technicians, • Receives and understands instructions on schedule and timeframes for cleaning areas and buildings. Relays important information to the part time evening cleaning technicians., • Uses a variety of cleaning equipments, materials and products; such as vacuums, mops, microfiber cloths, cleaning solutions, etc., • Supervises Personnel, conducts walk throughs of cleaned spaces, and trains new and existing personnel on procedures, • Opens, closes, and ensures the securing of facility, • Reports directly to Director of Operations with all pertinent information., • Conducts Inventory of all supplies for assigned facility and places orders through Director of Operations, • Depending on assignment may do/supervise any or all of the following on a daily, weekly or periodic basis:, • Cleans (vacuums, dusts, mops, etc.) assigned areas to customer and Company standards, • Empties trashcans, replaces liners, and wipes trashcans as required in all weather conditions, • Cleans and sanitizes phones, vacuums carpets, and sweeps and mops tile floorsdusts office furniture, blinds, window sills, plants, air vents, and light fixtures, etc., • Spot cleans all interior glass and doorsWipes walls, doors, door frames, and other vertical surfaces free of smudges and fingerprints, • Cleans and polishes chrome and stainless steel fixtures, sinks, faucets, kick plates, switch plates, etc, • Cleans restrooms including sinks, toilets, partitions, and urinals. Sanitizes counters and sinks. Checks and replenishes paper and feminine hygiene products, soap, and lotion dispensers., • Performs all work safely in accordance with OSHA and Company requirements., • Maintains awareness of where all product SDSs are located., • Wears personal protective equipment as required., • Respond positively and promptly to site work orders., • Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies. Job Requirements: • A vehicle owner with a valid drivers license, • Education and work history that demonstrate the appropriate work ethic and responsibility for a managerial role, • A great communicator, in person, on the phone and by email, • Ability to work independently or as a team member., • Cares about quality., • Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace., • Must be reliable, dependable, • Able to lift 50 pounds., • Normal visual and hearing abilities required., • Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching., • Motivated to start a career in the commercial janitorial industry, • Able to follow all safety rules consistently, • Must be able to meet work schedule which includes evenings starting between 5 - 6:00 Pm.
