Our portfolio spans nationally recognized restaurant brands, a non-profit, and a growing energy services division: • Charleys Cheesesteaks – 800+ unit brand recognized worldwide as home to the #1 Philly Cheesesteak, • BIBIBOP Asian Grill – Award-winning, 80+ unit Korean-inspired fast casual concept, • Lenny's Grill & Subs – Memphis-born, 60+ unit chain serving premium deli and hot subs, • Charleys Kids – Non-profit providing food, education, and mentorship to at-risk children worldwide, • Solar Planet – Solar field advisory and installation services Role Overview The Vice President of Supply Chain & Distribution is a senior enterprise leader responsible for providing strategic direction, operational excellence, and people leadership across procurement, purchasing, supplier partnerships, and distribution for GOSH's full portfolio of brands. This role ensures the supply chain function is stable, scalable, and aligned to business and brand objectives — supporting both company-operated restaurants and franchise partners. The VP will build a high-performing supply chain organization, strengthen supplier and distributor relationships, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products at competitive and sustainable costs. The Vice President will work closely with executive leadership, brand teams, and franchise stakeholders to ensure supply chain strategies support growth, brand integrity, and system-wide success. This leader ensures our brands and franchise partners are supported by a reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective supply chain — maintaining operational consistency, enabling scalability, and contributing directly to long-term system success across a multi-brand, multi-channel organization. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Leadership & Team Effectiveness • Provide clear, steady leadership to shared services supply chain, procurement, and distribution teams, • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture with well-defined roles, accountability, and performance expectations, • Ensure the supply chain organization is well-positioned to support current operations and future brand growth, • Develop, coach, and retain strong leaders and key contributors within the function, • Champion a continuous improvement mindset and invest in team capability and succession planning Strategic Procurement & Cost Stewardship • Own enterprise-wide procurement strategy across food, packaging, and distribution categories, • Balance cost discipline with quality, reliability, and brand standards — ensuring value creation without compromising guest or franchisee experience, • Leverage buying power across the brand portfolio while remaining attentive to brand-specific and franchise needs, • Lead sourcing and purchasing strategies aligned with financial, operational, and growth objectives, • Monitor commodity markets and proactively develop risk mitigation and hedging strategies Supplier, Contract & Distribution Management • Lead supplier and distributor relationships, including selection, performance management, and ongoing partnership development, • Negotiate purchasing and distribution agreements that deliver competitive pricing, strong service levels, and long-term value, • Review and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives, • Oversee distribution strategies to ensure product availability, consistency, and service reliability across all regions, • Develop and monitor supplier scorecards, KPIs, and corrective action plans to maintain supply chain health Franchise & Corporate Operations Partnership • Serve as a key partner to franchise leadership — understanding the downstream impact of supply chain decisions on franchisee operations and profitability, • Ensure supply chain strategies effectively support both company-operated and franchised locations, recognizing their unique operational and financial considerations, • Collaborate with Operations and Brand teams to align supply chain initiatives with field needs and system expectations, • Support transparency, trust, and consistency in supply chain decisions affecting the broader system, • Act as a trusted advisor to franchisee operators on supply chain-related matters Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration • Partner closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Training, and Brand Leadership to align supply chain priorities with business needs, • Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership, • Develop and present supply chain performance metrics, savings, and strategic initiatives to the COO and executive team, • Operate effectively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly engaged leadership environment Leadership Profile The ideal candidate is a respected people leader and commercial strategist with strong negotiation skills and sound judgment. S/he brings the ability to build credibility across internal teams, suppliers, distributors, and franchise partners while operating confidently in a dynamic, founder-influenced organization.
