Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team responsible for the mechanical assembly of lawn care equipment, including aerators and blowers used primarily on golf courses. You will utilize hand and power tools, such as power drills, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, and various basic hand tools, to perform both sub-assemblies and full assemblies. The role requires working from blueprints, either independently or in two-person teams, to complete assembly tasks from start to finish. Responsibilities • Perform mechanical assemblies of lawn care equipment using hand and power tools., • Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks., • Complete full assembly of products from start to finish, either independently or in two-person teams., • Ensure high-quality assembly standards for all products., • Meet production targets, which may vary from 15 units daily to 1 unit every 2-3 days, depending on the department.Essential Skills, • Experience with hand and power tools (minimum 6 months)., • 1+ year of hands-on mechanical assembly experience., • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints., • Excellent attendance record (no more than 1 day missed per month)., • Good attitude and strong work ethic.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Preference for individuals with a background or hobby in car maintenance or as a lube/auto technician.Why Work Here? While quick turnaround times mean some days are more urgent, others are more relaxed. The facility is climate-controlled, not noisy, and provides ample space for working either alone or with a partner. The first shift runs from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional work on Fridays. Training will be provided by a trainer. Our supervisory team is approachable, and while the owner occasionally visits the shop floor, employees are encouraged to remain focused and productive. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Lake Park, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
