Position Overview Miller Farm serves as Earlham College’s campus farm and a hub of collaboration and experimentation around food and sustainability. Operations include ~1 acre of production gardens (USDA Certified Organic + Real Organic Project certified), a high tunnel, two caterpillar tunnels, composting, native pollinator gardens, and a community garden. Additional resources include the use of space within the Hill Memorial Greenhouse for seed starting and propagation. Produce is primarily offered for sale at the local farmers’ market, providing a vital link between Earlham College and the Richmond community. The Farm Manager leads these operations, provides supervision to student employees, provides support for on-farm events, and offers courses in sustainable agriculture. The Farm Manager is supervised by the Director of the Center for Environmental Leadership and will work in collaboration with other staff within the Center, including the Director of Outdoor Education, and various other faculty and staff also involved with projects at Miller Farm.
