Grab this opportunity to work with one of our client for a Material Handler position with pay range started from $18/HR where you will get the room to grow and make your perfect career Job Description The Material Handler supports electronic manufacturing operations by kitting, organizing, and tracking parts throughout the production process. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that materials are available and properly labeled for use on the production floor. It requires regular use of basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Office, and benefits from experience in electronics manufacturing or with Oracle systems. The position is hands-on and active, involving standing, walking, and lifting, and takes place in a clean production environment that follows safety and ESD guidelines. Responsibilities • Kit, organize, and stage parts and materials to support electronic manufacturing processes., • Track parts and materials accurately throughout the production workflow., • Resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating and correcting counts or locations., • Perform inventory adjustments in the system to maintain accurate stock records., • Receive incoming parts and materials, verify accuracy, and label items appropriately., • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify variances., • Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices to manage and rotate inventory correctly., • Use basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, to update and track inventory data., • Pick and pack materials and components according to production requirements and work orders., • Unload materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or similar equipment as needed., • Support production by ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations on time., • Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and other team members to coordinate material flow., • At least 1 year of material handling or kitting experience., • Hands-on experience with material handling, including picking, packing, and kitting., • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications for basic data entry and tracking., • Basic inventory knowledge, including counting, organizing, and tracking stock., • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing and walking for extended periods., • Strong communication skills to coordinate with production and warehouse teams., • Ability to work safely with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and similar material handling tools., • Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment., • Familiarity with Oracle or similar inventory or ERP systems., • Experience with inventory control practices, including cycle counting and FIFO., • In general production or warehouse operations. You will join a structured and organized production environment where your work directly supports efficient manufacturing operations. The schedule provides a consistent weekday shift, with the opportunity to transition to a standard daytime schedule once trained. You will work with supportive teams that value clear communication, accuracy, and safety, and you will build transferable skills in inventory control, material handling, and production support. Work Environment This is a full-time, first-shift role, Monday through Friday, initially working from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a transition to a 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule once training is complete. The position is based in a clean production environment that follows safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols. Work is active and physical, involving standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs, as well as using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling tools. You will regularly use computers and Microsoft Office to support inventory and production activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
