We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie. Summary: Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a medically trained Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine team! This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position working four days per week, 9-10 hour shifts, with a flexible day off based on clinic needs, and some rotating Saturday morning shifts required. The position is based at our Louisville clinic, located at 80 Health Park Dr., Suite 100 & 200, Louisville, CO 80027. We have three openings: Job Perks: • Full-time employees are eligible for medical / dental / vision, flexible spending, company-paid life insurance, as well as several voluntary benefit options, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) and six (6) paid holidays annually., • Part-time employees are eligible for medical / dental / vision, voluntary benefits, 401(k), and holiday pay (if regularly scheduled to work on an observed holiday)., • Day shift schedules., • Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.Job Duties:, • Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check in/out, coordinate and facilitate accurate patient appointment, • Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations, • Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies, • Preparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stocked, • Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system, • Good history-taking skills, strong, competent computer skills; accurate and complete documentation skills; good time management and organizational skills., • Relate well and communicate with patients, providers, and staff., • Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is not required but preferred., • Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials. (Examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.)., • Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials.
