Job Description Experienced Medical Assistants - Make a difference across multiple specialties! Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is hiring experienced Medical Assistants to join our Resource Team in a multispecialty outpatient clinic. This full-time, benefits-eligible role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and weekday-focused schedules. Work Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday mornings, either four 9-hour shifts (36 hrs/week) or five 8-hour shifts (40 hrs/week). Light travel to clinics in Boulder, Louisville, and Longmont is required. As a Resource Team Medical Assistant, you'll provide clinical and administrative support, assist providers across multiple specialties, and help ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality preventive care. This role is perfect for experienced, adaptable, team-oriented professionals who enjoy variety and hands-on patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Specialty exposure includes: Family & Internal Medicine, Dermatology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Gastroenterology, ENT, Rheumatology, and more. It also gives their clinical teams valuable opportunities to learn and grow. • Physician-led, patient-focused: Our independent model gives providers and medical assistants the freedom to focus on personalized care, • Team-based learning: Most providers enjoy teaching and mentoring, creating a collaborative learning environment for all clinical staff, • Multi-specialty experience: Gain exposure in both primary care and a wide range of specialty clinics, including dermatology, OB-GYN, urology, ENT, and more, • Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check in/out, coordinate and facilitate accurate patient appointment, • Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations, • Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies, • Preparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stocked, • Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system, • Must be able to recognize and identify patient's symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action., • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned., • Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is not required but preferred., • Other completed medical training and proof of active certification with 1+ years of recent field experience is an acceptable substitution. (Examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.). Location(s): • Boulder County, CO
