JOB SUMMARY: The Truck Reconciliation Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of delivery records and associated financial transactions within transportation and warehousing operations. This position is responsible for verifying and reconciling truck loads against shipping documents, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining organized records. The role requires frequent collaboration with drivers, warehouse teams, and operations staff to streamline processes and ensure the smooth flow of goods across the supply chain. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Compare delivery manifests, shipping documents, and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness., • Investigate and correct any inconsistencies in inventory counts, delivery records, or financial transactions., • Input and maintain accurate data related to truck details, driver information, and delivery-related financial transactions in the appropriate systems., • Maintain detailed and organized records of delivery activities, including supporting documentation and reconciliation logs., • Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and operations managers to resolve issues and facilitate efficient loading/unloading processes., • Prepare and submit daily and periodic reports summarizing delivery activity, reconciliations, and any issues encountered., • Other duties as assigned/needed. Education and Experience Requirement: • High school diploma or equivalent., • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities., • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
