Job DescriptionPacker - Oakbrook, IL 1st/2nd/3rd $17-$19/hr Job Description As a Packer, you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. You will ensure accurate counts and maintain quality standards by performing checks on labels, expiration dates, and packaging integrity. Responsibilities • Pack lip balm and other personal care products into boxes., • Count the correct number of items to be packed., • Weigh boxes to ensure correct counts on certain lines., • Perform quality checks to ensure labels are applied correctly, with no bubbles, and that expiration dates and prints are accurate., • Experience in packing, production, and packaging., • Ability to perform general labor tasks such as picking, loading, and unloading. Work Environment This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will be standing for the entire shift. Each employee is provided with a locker on their first day for personal items. You are allowed to carry a clear bag containing essentials such as a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The workplace serves as the corporate headquarters, offering a unique blend of manufacturing and administrative settings. The third shift is smaller and quieter, requiring team members to work independently under the supervision of a single supervisor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
