Quality in both produce and people management, comes first in everything we do. About the role We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager to join the La Gamba floor team at Southbank Centre. You’ll need a calm head, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example when service is busy. Working closely with the AGM and GM, you’ll help run day-to-day operations, making sure every guest receives the best service and every team member feels motivated and proud. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about people, produce, consistency, and teamwork. We want someone who takes pride in what they do, supports the people around them, and is always looking for ways to improve the restaurant. Responsibilities: • Support the management team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant., • Lead service with the highest standards during lunch and dinner shifts., • Assist with ordering, stock control, and stock takes., • Help manage rotas and labour costs., • Train and support junior waiters/waitresses., • Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times., • Assist with restaurant set-up, close-down, and routine maintenance. Requirements: • Previous experience as a floor manager in a high-volume restaurant., • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure., • A positive attitude and strong team mentality.
