Executive Assistant – City of London \n £55,000 - £75,000 DOE \n About the Role \n Our client are an ambitious and growing City law firm seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Managing Partners. Applicants must have previous experience working in a Law Firm or professional services environment such as an Accounting Firm. \n This is a varied and rewarding role that extends beyond traditional executive support, offering the opportunity to become a key part of the firm's continued growth and success. You will play a central role in supporting the Managing Partners, enhancing operational efficiency, coordinating business activities, and contributing to client service, compliance, marketing, and business development initiatives. \n This position is ideal for a highly organised, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of a broad and varied workload. \n Key Responsibilities \n Executive Support \n\n • Manage complex diaries, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.\n, • Coordinate internal and external meetings, preparing agendas and supporting documentation.\n, • Handle correspondence, calls, and emails with professionalism and discretion.\n, • Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents.\n, • Monitor deadlines and ensure follow-up actions are completed.\n, • Act as a trusted point of contact on behalf of the Managing Partners.\n\n Client Onboarding & Compliance \n\n • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients and support a positive client experience.\n, • Assist with AML, KYC, and other regulatory compliance processes.\n, • Prepare client engagement documentation and support matter opening procedures.\n, • Liaise with clients and colleagues to gather required information.\n, • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance documentation remains up to date.\n\n Team Onboarding & Office Management \n\n • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees and consultants.\n, • Support induction planning, system access, equipment allocation, and training requirements.\n, • Maintain personnel and onboarding records.\n, • Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the office.\n, • Liaise with suppliers, IT providers, and other external service partners.\n, • Support the development and improvement of office procedures and administrative systems.\n\n \n Operations, Marketing & Events \n\n • Support operational projects, business planning, and strategic initiatives.\n, • Prepare management reports and business information as required.\n, • Assist with the firm's LinkedIn presence and broader marketing activities.\n, • Coordinate website updates, marketing materials, and client communications.\n, • Organise networking events, seminars, and business development initiatives.\n, • Manage event logistics, invitations, RSVPs, and post-event follow-up.\n\n Finance Support \n\n • Assist with invoicing, billing, and expense administration.\n, • Support credit control processes and financial record maintenance.\n, • Liaise with external accountants where appropriate.\n, • Provide general bookkeeping and finance administration support.\n\n About You \n The successful candidate will be an experienced Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrator with experience supporting senior stakeholders within a professional services environment. \n Essential Requirements \n\n • Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.\n, • Previous experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders within a law firm or professional services environment.\n, • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.\n, • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.\n, • Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.\n, • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.\n, • Professional, discreet, and experienced in handling confidential information.\n, • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using new systems.\n, • Experience managing business social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.\n, • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to supporting business growth.\n\n Desirable Experience \n\n • Knowledge of AML, KYC, and client onboarding processes.\n, • Experience working within a regulated environment.\n, • Event management and business development support experience.\n, • Familiarity with CRM, practice management, marketing, or finance systems.\n, • Basic bookkeeping or accounts administration experience.\n\n What We Offer \n\n • Salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.\n, • A varied role with genuine responsibility and influence.\n, • The opportunity to work closely with the Managing Partners of a growing City law firm.\n, • A collaborative and supportive working environment.\n, • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.\n, • Competitive benefits package.\n\n This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable Executive Assistant seeking a broad and impactful role within a growing and ambitious law firm. \n If you have not been contacted within 5 working days, then unfortunately on this occasion your CV has not been shortlisted.
