Our client is recruiting for an exciting new role - "Events Coordinator" This position will require a highly passionate & self motivated individual that is looking to really make their mark within a hugely successful & large organisation. Working 35 hours a week on a hybrid basis (min 2 days office based) the successful candidate will be flexible in terms of start/finish hours based on company needs. Role overview: To support the delivery of engaging, professional, and commercially successful business events. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively while taking ownership of their projects from concept and planning through to delivery and post-event analysis. Key responsibilities: Work with the Marketing & Communications team to create and deliver events in line with the organisations business plan and marketing strategy. Manage the full event cycle: researching venues, preparing proposals, booking suppliers, and managing logistics. Coordinate event communications including invitations, joining instructions, and feedback surveys. Liaise with venues, caterers, speakers, sponsors, and suppliers to ensure events run smoothly. Create engaging presentations and materials for use at events. Maintain event calendars, records, and budgets, ensuring accurate reporting on attendance and return on investment. Support day-to-day administrative and operational processes related to events. Ensure all events comply with health and safety policies and brand guidelines. Contribute creative ideas for improving event quality, engagement, and efficiency. Personal Attributes, Skills & Essential Experience; Minimum of 2 years experience in event planning or coordination. Proven ability to manage events from concept to completion. Excellent organisational, time management, and administrative skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office applications. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Understanding of data protection (GDPR) requirements. Positive, proactive, and solution-focused. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Creative thinker with strong attention to detail. Reliable, professional, and able to work under pressure. Flexible approach, including occasional early mornings or evenings for events. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use (preferred). What you can expect : 27 days annual leave plus public holidays. Additional paid day off for your birthday.
