Marketing Manager (12-Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract) Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) Reports to: Marketing Director Salary range: £42,500-£55,000 per annum Start date: Feb 2026 About MaxContact MaxContact is a fast-growing B2B tech company helping organisations transform how they engage with customers. We have ambitious plans for the next 12 months and are looking for a hands-on marketer to help elevate our brand and accelerate demand. The Role We’re looking for a highly organised, creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. This is a varied and impactful position where you will lead our brand awareness initiatives, shape our content strategy, manage events and community-building, and support PR activity across the B2B tech landscape. You will be responsible for creating and executing top-of-funnel campaigns that grow our audience, strengthen our market position, and fuel early-stage demand for MaxContact’s solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong all-rounder with a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and experience working across the full B2B SaaS marketing toolkit. Key Responsibilities Content, Brand & Thought Leadership • Develop and execute a cohesive content strategy to support brand, awareness and demand goals., • Create and manage top-of-funnel content including blogs, reports, whitepapers, videos, social content and customer stories., • Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all touchpoints., • Plan and run integrated multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and early pipeline., • Collaborate with digital specialists to optimise campaign performance across organic, paid and social channels., • Own the planning and delivery of MaxContact’s events calendar, including conferences, roundtables, webinars and customer events., • Manage logistics, promotion, campaign follow-up and performance measurement., • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to maximise event impact and audience engagement., • Support the development of PR campaigns and media outreach in collaboration with agency partners., • Identify opportunities for awards, commentary, speaking engagements and partnerships., • Work closely with our Head of People, Sales, Product and Customer Success teams to champion MaxContact’s brand narrative internally., • Ensure colleagues understand and can confidently communicate our value proposition, strengths and differentiators by supporting the rollout of clear messaging, playbooks and brand assets., • Help maintain consistency across all touchpoints and contribute to a strong, unified brand experience throughout the organisation. About You Experience & Skills • 5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS or technology., • Proven experience in content creation, campaign management and brand-building., • Hands-on knowledge of HubSpot (Marketing Hub), • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to optimise marketing activity., • Experience delivering webinars and events end-to-end., • Understanding of SEO principles and working knowledge of digital channels., • Excellent storytelling, writing and communication skills., • Proactive, self-sufficient and comfortable owning multiple projects., • Creative yet commercially minded, with a focus on outcomes., • Collaborative team player able to work closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success., • Adaptable, resourceful and energised by working in a fast-paced environment.
