About the role: To assist in month end management reporting and year end statutory reporting, and to maintain financial reconciliations that enable timely, accurate information for management. This role supports technology teams and multiple international entities, contributes to statutory and audit processes, and helps ensure robust control of balance sheet and fixed asset reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Drive timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end balance sheet reconciliations (Sales Ledger, CAPEX, control accounts) to support a clean close and confident reporting., • Partner with technology teams to deliver clear month‑end reporting, analyse variances against budget, and highlight opportunities or risks., • Calculate and record development fixed assets each month, ensuring capitalisation is robust, defendable and aligned with policy., • Lead balance sheet revaluations at month and year end, ensuring adjustments are accurate and well documented., • Reconcile TM1 to local ledgers for overseas offices, investigate and resolve variances, and improve reporting integrity., • Maintain and optimise intercompany reconciliations and the intercompany matrix to enable smooth cross‑border settlements., • Prepare quarterly holiday pay accruals, cross‑charges and management fee allocations with strong attention to allocation and audit trail., • Support monthly maintenance and reconciliation of fixed asset registers across five entities, ensuring depreciation and disposals are recorded correctly., • Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT/GST/Sales tax returns and statutory surveys to keep the business compliant., • Contribute to preparation of annual statutory accounts and be an active point of contact during the annual audit and R&D return processes., • Respond to ad‑hoc finance queries across the business, translating technical detail into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
