Robert Half are working in partnership with a values-led organisation within the not-for-profit sector in Cheltenham to recruit a Finance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring robust controls, business partnering with stakeholders and efficient operations within the finance department. The Finance Manager role is a brilliant opportunity for someone that wants to make a positive impact and are driven by the same values. The salary is between £55,000 - £60,000 plus a number of excellent benefits. The Role The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager will consist of: Lead month-end management accounts and year-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory accounts. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports to support strategic and operational decision-making. Develop and deliver annual finance work plans, policies and procedures. Implement and improve processes/procedures. Manage external audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. Support and advise stakeholders across the organisation on financial issues and business planning. Lead, manage and develop the Finance team. Requirements To be considered for the Finance Manager role, you must possess the following skills and experience: Must have experience within a Finance Manager role or equivalent. Fully/part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). Proven ability in management and financial accounting. Experience within the not-for-profit sector would be desirable. Must have experience managing and leading a team. Ability to meet tight deadlines with high accuracy and take initiative in identifying and implementing solutions. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across all levels. Adaptable.
